Thank you for visiting our park. The following rules have been established to provide an environment that is conducive to our guests’.
Good camp etiquette ensures that every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you for staying with us.
SITE FEES are to be paid in advance. Please check in upon arrival.
CHECK OUT time is 12pm. We encourage you to extend your stay! Please register at the park Office by 10am if you are staying longer than anticipated. Fees may apply based on availability.
SPEED LIMIT is 5 MPH, please drive very carefully.
QUIET TIME Please consider your fellow guests by observing quiet time between is 10 PM – 7 AM.
PETS are welcome; however, they must be kept on an attended leash at all times to include walking to and from the dog run. Pet droppings MUST be cleaned up immediately, no matter where you walk your pet.
PARKING One RV and one vehicle are permitted per site. All additional vehicles are $5.00 per day. Guest parking is available by the main office, please inquire with Park Staff for assistance. Sorry ATV’s, Motorcycles, Minibikes and Motorized Scooters cannot be operated within the boundaries of the park.
CAMPSITE cleanliness is important to us. Please maintain a clean site. Clotheslines, RV or vehicle washing and/or repair are to be done outside of the park. Nothing is to be affixed to our trees i.e. hammocks etc.
GARBAGE must be disposed of in the designated receptacles located on the northwest side of the main office. WE LIVE IN BEAR COUNTRY! Leaving garbage on top of bins or outside your rig will invite BEARS. NO CARDBOARD BOXES are to be disposed of in our receptacles. Packaging for new camp equipment etc. must go home with you. DO NOT throw away your old camp equipment, etc. in our trash receptacles. Household garbage only….
SEWER connections must be airtight at all times. At no time may any wastewater be discharged on the ground; this includes gray water.
CAMPFIRES are permitted in specified areas and subject to state no burn regulations. Campfires must be safely contained in a park approved portable campsite fire pit (at this time, only Propane is allowed, 2026 regulations from CalFire). Wood and or briquette for the fire pit is NOT allowed. All campfires must be attended by an adult at all times. Please use extreme caution!
BBQ’s Propane is the only allowed at the time, briquettes are not allowed by the order of CalFire. BBQs cannot be placed on tables at campsite. If you ignore this and melt the table, you will be purchasing the table 🙂
SMOKING is prohibited within all buildings at the park. Please dispose of Cigar and Cigarette butts in proper receptacles, they present a tremendous fire danger.
GUESTS that have overnight visitors must register at the park Office. Guest fees apply. Seasonal guests if you have overnight visitors, it is $5.00 per person per vehicle.
ELECTRICAL The Park accommodates 30/50 amps. Please be mindful of the energy you use. Don’t leave A/C on and doors open. We do not accommodate the charging of EV at your campsite.
INTERNET/COMPUTER USE Free Wi-Fi is available in most areas of the park and directly in front of the clubhouse. Please see Park Staff for access points and passwords and assistance.
PARENTS please be aware of the location of your children at all times. We want everyone to be safe. Large RVs are driving in and out of the park. All riders of bicycles and non-motorized scooters under the age of 18 must wear a helmet at all times, its California law. For those skateboard enthusiasts there is a Skateboard Park in Portola.
RESTROOMS/SHOWERS Men’s and women’s restroom and shower facilities are available to our overnight and weekly guests. Monthly guests prohibited. Please help us keep them clean and report any service issue to the Park Staff.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES are available to our guests. The Park office has quarters for our machines. The Park is not responsible for missing items. Please do not leave unattended. Please make sure to use the signup sheets provided.
STORE The Gift Shop carries T-shirts, Ice Cream, Greeting Cards, Candles, gifts and informational materials. Make sure to stop in and take a peek.
POST OFFICE: We do have a Post Office located in the main building.
GAMING We have multiple games available throughout the park i.e. horseshoes, badminton, and board games and puzzles. Park Staff can assist you in checking them out, free of charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellations are subject to fee. Fees are dependent on how close to your arrival time you cancel. Refunds are issued if notice is received at least 14 days prior to arrival date and is subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Month to month guests require a 90 day notice or the entire deposit is forfeited. Rental units require 30 days’ notice and forfeit 1/2 deposit. Cancellation without notice will result in forfeiture of entire deposit. Please call us, we understand life happens. But we wait up for our guests.
Camping is an outdoor experience. As such we do not give refunds due to discomfort of nature or for early departure.
