There’s So Much to See and Do!

4/22  Taste of Plumas – Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds, Quincy.  Sample food from dozens of
local restaurants.

5/4    Western Pacific Railroad Museum – Opening Day  10-4 p.m. daily.

5/5 – 5/6 American Valley Speedway Racing – All classes play day.

5/14   Bucks Lake Fishing Derby –  All day event.

5/22   Blind Pizza Tasting Throw-down – Enjoy the fun with pizza and local craft beer.

5/26   Greenhorn Ranch BBQ – All you can eat BBQ, horseback rides, wagon rides, horseshoes,
fishing, swimming, dancing and a bonfire sing-a-long.

5/27   Century Ride – For the serious bike riders.  100 mile ride or less.

5/27   Portola – Weekend Train Rides return  –  Western Pacific Railroad Museum

5/27-5/28  Graeagle Merchant Shop Hop – Visit all merchants for a chance to win prizes.

6/2    Farmers Market Opens – Hosted by Sierra Farms every Friday from 10-2 p.m.

6/2 – 6/3    Plumas County Picnic and Sierra Cascade Street Rodders – Plumas County Fairgrounds

6/2 Music social and movie on the grass

6/3 Picnic and Show and Shine

6/3    Lost and Found Gravel Grinder –  30, 60, or 100 mile bike ride race.  Go to www.lostandfoundbikeride.com for additional information.

6/10  Paws on Parade – 10 to 3pm.  Fun event for family and four legged friends.  Proceeds benefit High Sierra Animal Rescue (will be there with our 2 rescues JR and Toby ??). Retrievers Ball – a dog will fetch two of 100 balls for first and second place winners.

6/15  Quincy Certified Farmers Market –  4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Plaza (Center of Quincy) -Every Thursday June through Sept.

6/17  Sorroptimist International Annual Garden Tour – Quincy

6/17  Weekly Farm Stand at Five Foot Farm  –  Stock up on beautiful sustainably grown veggies, pick your own Strawberries and smell the flowers inquire fivefootfarm@gmail.com

6/17 -6/18  Liberty Show – Firearms and More at the Quincy Fairgrounds – Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds

6/18  Concour d’Lemon Car Show – For your rusty, dirty, dented cars, trucks, buses, and tractors included this year vintage and oddball motorcycles.  11-2p.m.

6/25  Summerfest – Concert, Fundraiser, and Barbecue – White Sulpher Springs Ranch

6/29 – 7/2  High Sierra Music Festival –  Plumas Sierra Fairgrounds.  If you are attending please call and reserve your space with Golden Coach RV Park.

Golden Coach Café

Golden Coach CafeRemember when making your plans that we have a full service Café and Coffee Bar. We are open daily from 7 – 4pm. Wednesday evenings we serve dinner from 5-7 p.m. Reservations are recommended as seating as well as quantity is limited. All dinners are posted outside of the Café at the clubhouse.

Should you have a group outing and wish to have breakfast served earlier please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you. Catering for groups is available breakfast, lunch or dinner.
In addition we have ice, ice cream, sodas and a variety of other items in our store.

Should you need assistance with making reservation at any of the local restaurants please let us know we would be happy to assist you.

Plumas County Is The Place To Be

plumas-countyThe nights are crisp and the days beautiful with the bluest sky! It really is fall here in Plumas County, and sometimes you have to get off the highway and out of your car to experience our Awesome Autumn!

Plumas County now offers 15 regional tour itineraries geared for sightseeing groups, special interests, or even individual travelers. These itineraries are based on travel during the months of October through May, when RV Parks and restaurants are more readily available.

The 3-day trip itineraries below are designed to assist tour/travel trade professionals, school groups, clubs, or anyone who’s seeking help in making special-interest or off-season travel plans. Itineraries can be taken in any direction, with alternate entrance and exit points, and several choices of accommodations and restaurants.

Tours 1 through 6 combine general sightseeing and seasonal attractions in Plumas County and surrounding regions.
